Our expertise includes the valuation of all types of commercial and residential properties including but not limited to mortgage appraisals, employee relocation, estate and equitable distribution work and condemnation appraisals. We also provide real estate brokerage expertise, offering consultation and representation for buyers and sellers.

The Efird Corporation was founded by George H. Efird, Jr., MAI in 1980. Mr. Efird has been involved in the real estate appraisal profession since 1975. Our Company focuses on preparing a premium appraisal report for our clients using the most superior technology available. We have an in house research team to help the appraiser collect all the vital information and maintain our database of comparable sales data. Our work is supported by over 100 years of combined experience, competency and integrity.

Our business coverage area for commercial properties is concentrated in the Piedmont and Western region of North Carolina, and the northern areas of western South Carolina. For residential appraisals, we service Mecklenburg, Union, York, Cabarrus, Gaston, and Iredell counties. We are fee sensitive to the needs of our clients and provide a well researched, quality report that is reader friendly.
